November 2009 Sales Data - Nanaimo

In Nanaimo, for the period November 2009 compared to the previous year November 2008, the number of units sold increased 74% from 49 units to 85 units, this is after coming off a 134% increase from the previous month October on a year over year basis.  The number of days to sell a listing decreased 18% from 56 days to 46 days and finally the Average Selling Price/Unit for the 12 months to date November 2008 to November 2009 was down slightly by 4% from $366,148 to $350,327, again, virtually the same as the last 3 months.  There is currently a  4.5 month supply of homes on the market, which is a 60% increase from the previous month of October which had a 2.8 month supply of homes.  This is based on 85 homes selling in the month of November and an active inventory of 386 homes.
